Pioneering The Market
In 1995, DDWS Pty Ltd pioneered the Australian drinking water products industry. DDWS was responsible for changes in Australian Water Board policies which permitted installation of point-of-use drinking water treatment systems in Australian home and office kitchens. This marked the commencement of the industry in Australia.

A Solid Foundation
In 1995, DDWS a consortium of Australian Investors and Culligan Water Technologies (Culligan International) formed a joint venture company – Culligan Australia Pty Ltd, to better serve the requirements of Australian consumers. This company was 70% Australian owned and managed by some of Australia’s leading businessmen including Peter Ritchie AO (Founder and ex Chairman of McDonalds) and Bob Mansfield (Founder of Optus and ex Chairman of Telstra).
